Of course this is the first subject I’m going to discuss, right? It can be a tricky subject, though, because we want to just believe that God will heal all of us completely. Sometimes that does happen. But how do we reconcile things when it doesn’t? I’m still working through this, so I don’t really have the right answer for you here. Sorry, friend.
What I do have, though, is hope. Maybe it’s a hope that we will heal completely. Maybe it’s a hope that tomorrow will be better. Maybe it’s a hope that one symptom will be milder. Maybe it’s hope for just enough strength for today.
Whatever it is that you need, Jesus knows pain. He knows heart ache. He’s been there, and he will sit with you in it. He will comfort you and give you peace.
He can also handle your anger, hurt, and sadness. However you feel, whatever it is that you want to say…or cry…or scream…he can handle it. He’s strong enough to listen and gentle enough to soothe your soul.
Reading my bible and praying really helps me so much spiritually. This is really important for my mental health.
